Your baby blues
So full of wonder

Your curly cues
Your contagious smile
And as I watch
You start to grow up

All I can do is hold you tight

Knowing clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms

Rains will pour down

Waves will crash all around

But you will be safe in my arms

Story books full of fairy tales
Of kings and queens and the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing

You'll someday see the truth from lies

Knowing clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms

Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around

But you will be safe in my arms

Castles they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone
Because I will always
Always love you

Clouds will rage
And storms will race in

But you will be safe in my arms

Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around

But you will be safe in my arms

Sunny day, Sweepin' the clouds away

Darrell, Pop-Pop and I took Miss R to the park this past Saturday to enjoy the gorgeous weather. I was a little nervous about how the princess would react because Darrell and I have taken her twice before and she was NOT impressed. I had my fingers crossed that she would like it now that she is older. Did she ever!!!

Every time she saw a baby about her age walking around, she tried to go up and give them a kiss. It was adorable! But, this little girl was afraid of her & started crying. R didn't know what to think.

She saw this blue sliding pole and said "Down!"
And Daddy said "No!"

I need a rest, Pop-Pop.

The Princess made a new friend! This little boy and Miss R played with the best part of the park - the wood chips on the ground. Miss R was very good about sharing with the other baby and his mommy. One set of parents paused to ask us if they were twins because of their hair!
Daddy stayed close by to make sure no phone numbers were exchanged.

Running to share with the little boy's mother!

R was impressed by his sliding skills.

Their shadows - so cute.

I was so proud of Princess R!

P.S. I swear I did not have that accent until I married Darrell.
